Description

Bang Sare Beach is a picturesque and secluded coastline located in the suburb of the same name, just 20 kilometers from Pattaya.

Previously, this village was a small fishing community, but with the development of the resort it has turned into a small town, retaining its leisurely pace of life, typical of provincial Thai settlements.

New hotels and residential complexes are gradually appearing in the surrounding area. Some locals continue to fish and trade in seafood, but the majority of the population earns money from tourism. Travelers come here to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Real estate agencies and developers actively advertise Bang Sare as a paradise, although the landscape here is no different from the neighboring area of Na Jomtien. Over time, the coast will be built up with residential and hotel complexes, but for now you can enjoy a secluded holiday away from the bustle of the city.

Infrastructure

The tourist industry in the village is just beginning to develop, so there are no entertainment venues or high level resort services. However, the necessary infrastructure for a relaxing holiday has already been created.

The length of the coastline, covered with coarse yellow sand, is about three kilometers. During high tides, the width of the beach decreases to 10-20 meters, and during low tides, the sea retreats by several dozen meters.

The swimming areas are fenced with buoys. There are no dangerous sea creatures in the bay, such as jellyfish or sea urchins. There is a calm at any time of the year, and even in the monsoon season, when a strong wind blows, there are no big waves on the sea, which makes the beach an ideal place for families with children and those who cannot swim. The entrance to the water is gentle and safe, the depth increases gradually. There are no stones, holes, shells or seaweed on the bottom. The bottom soil is mainly sandy, but there are silty areas. In calm weather, the water is transparent, but when there is a wave, it becomes muddy due to silt.

The beach has its own "walking street", but unlike the main party area in Pattaya, it does not offer sexual services or other entertainment associated with sin. The beginning of the promenade is decorated with a sculpture of a shark, and next to it there is another unusual art object - a seated mermaid with a child in her arms (the child also has a tail).

There are cafes on the beach with a traditional Thai menu. If you order a dish, you will be provided with a mat and a picnic table under a canopy. Some establishments provide equipment: umbrellas, sun loungers and sunbeds.

The street is adjacent to a well-kept park with gazebos, exercise machines that are protected from vandalism, and a toilet. The playground is equipped with a soft surface, slides, and various play structures. There is also a football field with a lawn and stands for spectators.

Along the coast there is a palm alley about 800 meters long. On weekends, Thais relax in the shade of the trees with their families and companies, and on weekdays, you can usually only see elderly people from Europe. There are few Russian tourists who have arrived on package tours here, mainly expats and winterers relax on the beach.

The part of the coast closer to the city (skyscrapers are visible on the horizon) is completely deserted, and in the far north there are bungalow-type hotels.

In the south there are piers where hundreds of boats are moored. Fishermen unload their catch and repair their gear. Anyone can go fishing for sharks, king mackerel, squid and other inhabitants of the underwater world. The program includes transfer, meals and the opportunity to fish both during the day and at night. The cost of the tour is 2,000 baht per person if there are at least five people in the group.

The makashnits prepare grilled fish, shrimp and squid. The prices for freshly prepared seafood here are slightly lower than in Pattaya.

If you go deeper into the village, you can find fruit, fish and clothing markets. On the main road, there are two 7/11 stores open 24 hours a day, located on either side of the road. There are also ATMs and currency exchange offices. Evening markets open daily at dusk. Dirty clothes and towels can be taken to the laundry or loaded into washing machines, which are located outside under awnings. You need to put 30, 40 or 50 baht in a coin acceptor.

Life in the village flows calmly and measuredly, and by midnight everything freezes.

Accommodation and hotels

There are several luxury hotels on the beach, without multi-story buildings. Bungalows are built on stilts right at the water's edge.
